TOUGH ROOM features 14 new tracks that Stanley recorded in the months before his death. The album was produced by Michael Stanley featuring members of The Resonators and mixed by longtime friend and executive producer Bill Szymczyk.
"From the time Michael and I started working together in 1969, and all the way to the present, we put songs into two categories: Rockers were "Rousers", and ballads were "Weepies". Weepies didn't have to be sad, just slow. So to introduce you to "Tough Room" may I present one of each. The album opener, "Hold On" is the Rouser, and a gorgeous ballad, "You're The One" is the Weepie. Enjoy."
